PLANT CARE
Light conditions: This Hoya carnosa prefers bright indirect light, but can also tolerate bright direct light and medium direct light. Rotate periodically to keep its shape. If you notice leaf burning move the plant away from direct sunlight.
Watering: Allow soil to almost fully dry out between waterings. This Wax plant is semi-succulent and it is always better to under water than over water it. A good indication that this plant needs water is if the leaves become flexible to touch or feels light when you pick it up.
Be generous when watering. Do not let your plant constantly sit in water, but do allow your plant ample time for the soil to adequately absorb water.
Pets: While this plant is non-toxic, we don’t recommend that pets eat your plants.
Note that some Hoyas can produce latex and some animals could be allergic.
TO NOTE
All plants are different! There can be variations in colour, variegation, growth, and maturity. While most houseplants have the potential to produce flowers, it is rare that they will do so in an indoor environment.
We recommend keeping new plants isolated for ~7 days to monitor for pests, regardless of where they're from.
If your plants were shipped to you, unwrap them and remove wood shavings from soil (if any). They maybe thirsty, so give them a drink of water if needed
Whether you live around the corner or across the country, moving is stressful for plants. Don't be alarmed by leaf loss, browning or yellowing, or a little light wear & tear! Please don't repot or fertilise for at least two weeks to avoid stressing plants out further. **This will compromise our 14 day guarantee.
